Why We Exist
BeyondAid was born from a simple frustration: too many charitable efforts create cycles of dependency rather than breaking them. We watched talented, capable individuals held back not by lack of will, but by lack of tools—a wheelchair that could navigate their city, Ability tools for Prakash to regain independence and earn a living. that accommodated their needs, training that opened new doors. So we decided to focus on high-impact, one-time interventions. We don't fund ongoing aid. We fund the specific tool or training that permanently changes someone's trajectory. Our first mission? Prakash—a man with Multiple Sclerosis who doesn't want sympathy. He wants a wheelchair to move and Ability tools for Prakash to regain independence and earn a living. to work. Help him get both, and he'll never need charity again.
